#8 only surfaced because of the helpful guidance of my spiritual director and the power of the Holy Spirit!! And I'm so grateful it did. It's been a powerful point to remember this year. Thank you for reading, Sarah!
There is so much wisdom here, Grace! Thank you for sharing it. I feel this deeply >> "sometimes I wonder if I can stand the pain that comes with being a present adult in a broken world." AND love how you've drawn out the both/and paradox of being a human in a broken but still beautiful world. Thank you for your words! I look forward to reading more of your writing in 2025.
I still have to read the rest of the post, but the force of that Isaiah 43 quote hit me, that in effect God says, "this thing that I am doing is so unforeseeable and, to your eyes, ridiculous that you will naysay it until I bring it to fulfillment."
I loved this thoughtful reflection and thought #8 was especially poignant!

This. This was so good. I admire you so.
Loved reading thank you 🥰
Loved reading this! Praise God, for all He has done and will do! Prayers for your sister in law… that is a hard journey 🙏🏻. And amen to the both/and 💛
